Meet French Xav, Founder of Monkey Bling

From Ink to Silver – A Tattoo Artist’s Journey into Silversmithing.

As a tattoo artist, I’ve always explored different crafts and art forms as a way to express myself. One day, I decided to dive into silversmithing, starting with a few books, YouTube tutorials and plenty of trial and error.

After months of self-teaching, I took a Level 1 Course in silversmithing with Dee, which helped refine my techniques. A few months later, I completed a more advanced Level 2 course, expanding my skills and pushing my creativity further. This journey led to the creation of Monkey Bling, where I blend my tattooing background with silversmithing.

Inspired by classic tattoo symbolism; daggers, Old English lettering, bones and other iconic imagery, each piece is a bold expression of artistry in metal.

Monkey Bling is where ink meets silver, bringing tattoo-inspired jewellery to life. Learn More
